Passport Booth Purchase Agreement

This Purchase Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the customer ("Customer") and Passport Booth ("Company"), a provider specialising in converting mobile phone pictures into professional passport and other official document photos.

1. Product Description

The Company offers a service enabling the Customer to download digital images formatted for passports and other official documents ("Product"). Additionally, options for the print and delivery of these images may be available for an additional charge.

2. Refund Policy

The Company provides a transparent refund policy for the digital download of the image. If the photo supplied by the Customer and processed by the Company is rejected by an official governing body due to non-compliance with their standards, the Customer is entitled to a full refund of the digital download fee which is £9.45 per processed image.

  • This refund policy does not extend to any costs associated with printing or delivery fees.
  • A refund request must be accompanied by evidence of the photo's rejection from the official governing body.
  • By purchasing, the Customer agrees that the photo generated by the Company is suitable and meets their satisfaction.
  • Eligibility for a refund is conditional upon the Customer adhering to the Company’s photo uploading guidelines as stipulated in this Agreement.

3. Photo Uploading Guidelines

For a photo to be eligible for a refund, the Customer must ensure it adheres to the following criteria:

  • The photo must be taken in natural light with no visible shadows.
  • The photo should be free from blatant malfunctions (e.g., partial head visibility).
  • Glasses are not to be worn in the photo.
  • The Company’s software is unable to process photos with headscarves or any facial coverings.
  • The Customer should be directly facing the camera, with shoulders, eyes, and ears aligned towards the camera.
  • Eyes must be open in the photo.
  • The photo must accurately and currently represent the Customer.
  • There should be no glare in the photo.
  • The Customer must have a neutral facial expression.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Company accepts no responsibility for photo rejections based on criteria unrelated to photo quality or formatting.

5. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

6. Amendment and Modification

This Agreement may only be amended or modified in writing with the mutual consent of both the Company and the Customer.

By purchasing the Product, the Customer confirms their understanding and acceptance of the terms outlined in this Agreement.
